GROUP CEO WINS INTERNATIONAL GROWTH AWARD
Part Of The Ernst & Young' Entrepreneur Of The Year Competition
Lars Wingefors, the main share holder and group CEO of Nordic Games Holding, was on Thursday Feb 4th, awarded the International Growth Award in the Entrepreneur of the Year 2009 competition. The award is sponsored by the SEBanken of Sweden and part of the annual Ernst & Young competition Entrepreneur of the Year. The jury commented on the prize, “Lars Wingefors has found his own niche, to buy overstocks of computer and video games that later are being sold on to the whole world. With a genial business idea and a strategy focused on export, he has achieved an impressive growth with strong profitability”. The success he showed in this allowed for Nordic Games to be started up.The Entrepreneur of the Year awards started in the USA in 1986 and was introduced in Sweden in 1995.
